Deutsche Telekom Set To Make Slovakian Acquisition If The Price Is Right

Slovak Finance Minister Ivan Miklos said the government may sell or float its 49% stake in Slovak Telekom, the country's largest mobile and fixed-line operator, as part of a wider privatisation drive. Deutsche Telekom owns the 51% majority stake and has a first-buy option on the stake. CFW believes there is a business case for Deutsche Telekom to buy the government's stake, but is concerned that inflated price expectations may be an obstacle.
